    • Uluyayla and Sarıçiçek Plateaus

    • Uluyayla and Sarıçiçek are beaties of nature increasing the touristic varieties ot the town. Uluyayla is at a distance of 50 km to the city center, while Sarıçiçek is 8 km away from the town

    • Tokatlı, Düzce, Sırçalı and Sakaralan Canyons
      The Canyons which are 13 km away from Safranbolu are excellent places for tourists, who would like to go on a photo-safari trip

      The Cave of Bulak (Mencilis)
      The Bulak (Mencilis) Cave is located on the border of Safranbolu and Karabük. It is 8.5km distance from the centre of town and 5km distance from Değirmenbaşı. The cave has 2 entrances. The first entry to the cave can be made from the mouth where the water flows. However, this entrance ends at a siphon at 30m. The second entrance can be made at the fossil entrance, left of the hill behind the cave.

    • The total lenght of the Mencilis Cave is 2725m. There are four declines in the cave 3, 5, 11 and 15m long, respectively. 350m of the cave has been illuminated and is open for touristic visits.

    • The Hızar Cave
      This cave is in the town of Danaköy. It’s distance from the district of Bağlar Değirmenbaşı is 5km. The cave has developed horizontally and is fossil. The cave consists of a large entrance and a main gallery and two side passages. Besides these caves, there are interesting geological structures such as a large cave entrance and deep hollows in the ground in the inner forests which have yet to be investigated.

    • The Ağzıkara Cave
      The Ağzı Kara Cave is located at the Harmancık Village. Although it is beautiful and rich in geological characteristics such as stalactites and stalagmites, it is not yet open for public viewing
