Our Mansion
Çamlıca Mansion Safranbolu is 6 km away from the new city centre and 8 km away from the old city centre. The closest residential area is the officers’ quarters located 400 metres ahead. The public mini bus transport route goes up to the Mencilis Cave in the summer months and departs 800 metres away from the mansion in winter.
Our Mansion is located within a garden and has three floors. Aside from the garden, it has 10 bed rooms, 2 lounge rooms and a terrace on the top floor. It is located on the skirts of the Monastary mountain filled with pine and fruit trees and is 3 km. Away from Mencilis Cave.
There are 4 bedrooms each on the first and the fourth floors. On the second floor there are two bedrooms and two loungerooms. Eight of our rooms have forest views. Breakfast is served in the garden in summer and in the house in winter. We offer a bed and breakfast service and our kitchen is available for guests who wish to use it. However we do not offer room service. We also do not hve set breakfast hours, we can prepare breakfast for you whevever you wish. You can also use our washing machine to wash your clothes.
The decoration inside is arranged in a natural way. There are no luxury items. The heating consists of a centralised radiator system. Hot water is available at all times. There is also unlimited wireless internet service throughout the guesthouse. As smoking is not permitted in the rooms you can smoke in the vestibule area or the terrace. Please note that the Çamlıca Mansion is an alcohol free establishment.
If you like we can prepare breakfast or a meal together. In the summer we can have a barbeque in the garden or pick fruit from the trees. We can share our home and our life with you even if it is only for a short while. As a guest house we cannot provide you with the comfort you can get at a hotel however we can share our culture and sincere feelings with you. We can sit together at the big dining table and become like a big family.
Just as the same as the guests who have come before you, all that we ask of you is just a little bit of reciprocal trust and respect.
